Where is secteur rocher monaco

The overall experience was great who doesn't love Monaco We had the best weekend in Monaco without having to spend a fortune. We arrived at 11am on race day and still plenty of good spots.

Not bad! Really recommend going in to Monaco on the Saturday night for the party scene on the track. Free access and great atmosphere! An awesome sunny weekend, highly recommended! When booking the tickets, I was dubious about booking general admission, rocher tickets as there were mixed reviews. Some said it was a great experience and others commented it was a waste of money.

We set off early, arriving at the track by 8am, and it was already busy. We found a great spot, and were surprised at how much of the track we could see. Albeit at a distance, and we never had a really close up view of the cars but could see a large screen and hear the commentary from where we were. If you buy a General Admission ticket for Rocher, then expect to feel like you're packed in a tin of sardines on a dirty piece of scrub hill side.

Can't believe the powers that be in Monaco don't get their act together and make Rocher much more spectator friendly, considering the amount of money they take off you. My wife booked tickets for me my upcoming 55th birthday present and our son university graduation present thru BookF1. I went couple of times to Montreal Grand Prix and bought tickets thru official F1 site so was not sure what to expect, but BookF1 exceeded our expectations. Tickets arrived on time and everything went smoothly.

We booked seats at K Grand stand and were very pleased with view except for couple of ignorant people in front that kept standing most of the race and blocked our view. It was unforgetable trip and we are planning to go next year again. And we are going to buy tickets at BookF1. I would definitely warn people that this is a very difficult area to view the race.

We got there on Friday morning so we could scout a spot as advised. However when we arrived after standing in a horrible crowd of people going up the road and 2 different security spots we found that two women came and folded our chairs up and put their chairs next to them. Leaving us barely enough room to open ours and sit without hitting into the man on the other side of us and them.

The man refused to move and inch, even though he had room. The two women just ignored us. The people behind us were beligerent. Not the best environment to enjoy a race we looked forward to for over a year. You couldn't move anywhere as there were so many people.

The best part was the man on the hill with the bull horn that kept talking to everyone down below and they would answer. Too many tickets sold in this area. Then leaving took forever because all the sidewalks were closed off. A great spot to see the race, but a lot of people who were not friendly.

For those who are looking to watch F1 the Rocher sector tickets ate almost useless, very poor view. Really easy to purchase tickets through BookF1. We booked fairly last minute so we had to pick up our tickets On the practice day we had purchased K3 tickets.

This was a great view over the harbour front and you can get really close to the track. There are toilets and drinks underneath the stands so it was ideal. Saturday we had tickets for the rocher secteur I was really pleased to see bag checks and security on stand by and at every entrance point to the trackside. Couldn't fault the trip We were completely squished on the first day and that was 8.

Had a lovely weekend in Monaco and the surrounding areas. Buying F1 tickets at Monaco is a little different to other races, where you normally buy a 3-day ticket and sit in the same seat for the whole weekend. Friday tickets previously Thursday at Circuit de Monaco are still fairly cheap — this is a good day to splash out on a terrace or yacht, when prices are much more affordable than on the weekend.

Two general admission areas are on sale for the Monaco Grand Prix and you want to get tickets for Z1 over Rocher any day of the week. The small Z1 area on the outside of Tabac puts you very close to the action, while Rocher is an overgrown hillside a long way from the track.

We await further information from the Automobile Club de Monaco. Thursday will also become the best day to do a track walk! We also recommend Official Ticket Packages from F1 Experiences with grandstand seats and exclusive insider activities in Monaco or access to a choice of trackside hospitality, including a trackside yacht, the Ermanno Penthouse and the Formula 1 Paddock Club. Accommodation with circuit transfers can also be added to your package.

Grandstand A1 is located on the inside of turn 1, otherwise known as Sainte Devote. From the top row, you can also turn around and glimpse the cars entering the harbor section of the circuit, right behind the stand. No access to a big TV screen. YouTube view of Grandstand A1. Grandstand C is located on the Portier Corner before the tunnel entrance, an important section of the circuit where drivers try to line up overtaking moves.

Tribune C is a good value option on both Thursday and Saturday but lacks the atmosphere found in the Harbor section, which offers better race-day Grandstand choices. Grandstand T , located in the Harbor area opposite the pits, is one of the larger grandstands at Monaco. The grandstand is divided into lower and upper areas — the more expensive higher seats have views of the pits.

On the track, you will see the cars taking the last turn of the Swimming pool complex where many drivers have hit the wall in recent years!

Grandstand X1 and X2 are small, low grandstands on the main start-finish straight. Apart from offering a good view of the race preparations and start, these stands are not the best choice and their cheaper price reflects this. A steep hill with little in the way of creature comforts and set back some distance from the track, it is difficult to get a good spot to view the action from here. You will improve your chances by arriving early, but regulars will still have reserved the best spots.

The big screen set up for Grandstand V is visible but distant from Rocher, so bring along some binoculars.

Click here to see a video of the view from Rocher. Z1 Enceinte offers unreserved standing only areas on the straight between the chicane at Nouvelle and Tabac. As a bonus, there are also several bars and restaurants in the zone with lots of outdoor seating. Limited big screen TV viewing. Z1 offers the cheapest race day tickets in the heart of the action and race-day tickets sell out almost one year in advance, so get in quick! YouTube view of Z1.

Single-day tickets are very popular in Monaco, where many fans choose different grandstands or hospitality suites on all three days of racing. You can apply for access by sending an email after January 2. Parking tickets are not sold by the circuit. More information about the best places to park for the Monaco Grand Prix can be found in Trackside. Hey I purchased today my ticket for the Monaco f1 gp, since I will be coming to the race from New Zealand I want to book also my accomodation and flight tickets.

So from previous years how sure can I be that the given date for the Monaco gp will not change?! Is it safe for me to buy my flight ticket soon or should I wait till end of the year? Thanks in advance. Hi Yaver, thanks for your question.

So you can go ahead and buy your flights and reserve your accommodation! Hello, I want to buy cheap ticket and can you advice me which place would be good and from where i can buy? Hi Where is the best site to buy Monaco tickets-is it amc. We are coming from Australia. Hi Marama, the Automobile Club de Monaco is the promoter and official ticket agency for Monaco F1 tickets, but they may not be the best place to buy.

I note they are currently upgrading their ticket platform, for example. We co-operate with Gootickets , based in Monaco and an authorised reseller of tickets. They have the same prices and are trustworthy. I created an account with ACM. I forgot my password and clicked the link to retrieve it.

I got an email back with the password I had used when creating the account. That means they are storing your password in clear text in their database. This is a huge security issue. Who knows what they do with CC numbers. What do you think to go to monaco only thursday? Prices are proibitive other days. What is best stand for you? Hi Stefano, one day at Monaco is better than not going at all!

Read about our two-day trip here. Grandstand T. What do you think about it? However, we had a great spot on Sat which was well under the shade of the trees, and had an excellent view of Anthony Noghes and the big screen.

It is possible to see more than is shown in the video attached to this thread, but you need to be determined! I hope you realise your plan to attend. I was able to find tickets at this gootickets website that are already sold out at the tickets.

Is it safe to buy there, right? Oh and another thing. I understand paying some more money to see the race. Could you say something about it?

Thank you! What part of the race track would you recommend? This is new to us and our first event!!! I would like seating , atmospheric , with a good view and tv screen …. Does anyone know if they do pit walks on Thursdays? I have read elsewhere online that there is a pit walk on Friday if you have a Weekend ticket. I have a limited time and want to buy a grandstand ticket for Thursday only.

This is open to all Saturday and Sunday grandstand ticket holders. Do you mean the Tribune T High Upper seats? This is the section between the exit of the S of the swimming pool and Rascasse Corner. If so yes recommended by a number of our visitors in the past. Hi James Is the pit walk open to any ticket holders? We have general admission for the Saturday and z1 general admission for the Sunday.

Many thanks Jenny. I have been offered seats in section K for Sat and Sunday. Where are these on the circuit, as what will I see? Hi Judy, Have you tried BookF1. They have the latest prices and availability. If you select the magnifying glass next to the Grandstands you can see pictures and reviews of the stands. I understand section K is in Tribune near the harbour.

Hi, I wanted to book 2 tickets for the race on Sunday for the Monaco grand prix as a surprise birthday gift for my husband. He is a huge fan and I am not sure which tickets to book. Could you please suggest which section would be the best. I might also book 2 tickets for the qualifying on Saturday. If you visit BookF1. If you click the magnifying glass image next to the Tribune T High you can see some images. He has always wanted to see the MCGP.

I know nothing about this event. I would like to find the best possible place that I can afford. Ideally, food and beverages would be included. Lastly, are any of the yachts for rent for private viewing? Thank you very much.
