I have an appointment following a biopsy i had last week. Paranoid that bad news is delivered in person, im wondering if its routine to receive a follow up either way?

Anyone received good news by follow up appointment as opposed to telephone? I'm also in the same position - mammogram, ultrasound and biopsies all done last week. Was told weeks for results. The radiographer I think that's who carried out the biopsy said that there is a chance that results would be given over the phone but not normally.
